Please Lord

By stargaze0991

Please Lord,
Let my soul not be poor,
empty and hollow opening,
but let a fire burn,
and let me yearn,
please don't let me suck,
the furl that feeds the flame,
for that is you God,
let it char my shame,
and when i am weak,
I know you'll give me coins,
and with your graciousness buy bread,
for that bread is life,
and you'd be the bread,
just fill my soul,
so when I'm dead,
I won't be gone.
