Collapse

By Quietus

I am a wounded gazelle fighting for life,
He is a hungry lion stalking his prey.
He attacks me so gently--
I give up my fight and I collapse.

He is the wind guiding me ever so gently,
I am a leaf touched by the calmness of his movement.
Together we glide in a state of euphoria--
All of my nerves gather as one and I collapse.

My body is the sound of a mild humming,
He is a song sung softly and fluidly.
He instills his lyrics into my body--
My lips scream his song and I collapse.

He is the warmth of a summer's day,
I am the cold mist of morning.
Together, we collide in the sky--
A storm erupts and I collapse.

I want to crawl into his skin.
I want to disappear into the softness of white sheets.
I want to be unraveled in ways that only he can unravel me.
I love him and the storm that we create.

I collapse...

Wow. I finally got an actual membership so I can post now. It's been WAY too long. First post was '11 and now it's '15. Time flies. Sorry if I've lost my touch, hahaha. I'm rusty. Also, sorry it's so cheesy. --Quietus
