foREVer
By 10 Forty Three
It would be around 4 AM
and all things would end.
You would leave bat country behind and walk towards the light.
We would never see you again after that night.
Like falling dominoes, the rumors spread fast and
we thought it was fiction.
We didn’t want to believe the unholy confessions.
It was thought that you were buried alive but instead, it was eternal rest.
We wanted the nightmare to be over
but we couldn’t wake up to scream
for it was not a dream.
The demons we could not burn down.
You were taken a victim
by a natural born killer.
One last silent goodbye,
and it was the wicked end.
Now, shattered by broken dreams,
we pray to dear God to take care of you.
And when the thunder strikes,
we know it’s you giving us a little piece of heaven.
The world that night died
wandering the streets of City of Evil lost,
knowing
you were so far away,
but you
still lived on foREVer in our hearts, until the end.

I believe he finished an album and turned it in then died the next day, right? Something along those lines either way this was awesome.

This is still one of the coolest poems ever. I know that a lot of people write poems like this, but I can honestly say that no one has ever done it quite like you. foREVer. ?
