  • "Thank you :) The back story is the source for that stanza - "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The rose is the closest thing to a female love object in the story (I think) - only it's loved by a little boy, the little prince :)"

For some reason I especially loved the lines "And he's learned to live with the weight of the crown But he still orders roses sent up to his room."...hints at a very cool back story.
