  • "they say imitation is the highest compliment... I can hear his voice behind these words, impeccable structure... unsurpassed mimicry. this is better than little cats and rivals dreams deferred..."We passed their graves: / The dead men there, / Winners or losers, / Did not care. / In the dark / They could not see / Who had gained / The victory." --"Peace" The WWII decade."

  • "assuming you have a pillow, it is just like a man to think only of his pillows, and to react violently to the inanimate object that disrupts his rest. But, seriously, when we conceive of the world in logical terms, are we not imposing a binary system on something that may defy logic, that may exhibit properties and possibilities that cannot be accounted for by reason, that cannot be expressed in language or logic? what is it that we love when we love logic... logocentrism... is that a perspective on the world that provides us security, safety, and confidence that we are in control, that we can discover the answers and that ultimately the world will make sense to us because we will cram it into our logical bed of crustaceans and discard all that does not fit under our preconceived and unforgiving systematic black/white, true/false, sound/unsound security blanket? Just a thought. The sentiment here is endearing, I just had to be difficult. "

  • "The chill of night, wet grass, unheard pounding music...I really like this poem, Liz. The rhymes were just right and the rhythm made it so pleasant on the tongue. And the story... I do adore this so."

  • "Great piece - the parallel to a computer made it a bit creepy for me, as it boiled us down to a very functional level...which left me feeling very "unspecial". Interesting thoughts. Ciao, T/S"
