  • "Yes! Love the "An open threat to the young." When I was young I didn't see that threat. Realized it much too late. Time is quite malevolent. Well done!"

  • ""Somewhere in the canopy of sky Is the golden key of expansion The key to a better me" - great closing line to this one, it ended things on a hopeful note. Ciao, T/S"

  • "The worst thing is that this happens all too often. We're always the least important to someone. A mere spectre."

  • "This is really powerful. This poem really speaks to me, and I'm sure it does to others, of how painful a relationship like that can be. And the worst part? You always find yourself in a vicious cycle, finding yourself in a relationship like that over and over again. Thank you for expressing this so eloquently. "

  • "This poem is an interesting description of Time. If you are open to tips, I would suggest you elaborate on the subject, and think of deep figurative language as you do. It's quite a nice poem, though."

  • "More poets should write "perspective-shifting " poems like this one. Well-crafted and I found the "oh no here comes an Icarus" sarcasm in some of the lines darkly humorous. Nice job creating the sensation of actually being the ground of the earth."

  • "I like it in that it is creative, and not too constrictive other than the idea that "God" here seems to be the so called Daddy of the Big Three (Patriarch or cowardly old white guy, from Christian,Jewish, and Islamic)...it's a complicated topic though, just like the differences between Hindu polytheism and contemporary Pagan polytheism.I must agree though that the gods of this world, the aliens, the immortal trillionaires cowering behind armies of idiots, or whatever they are, are real bastards. Also going after God takes a brain, and some guts for arguments risk sake.Congratulation in winning Poem of the Day."

  • ""Let the gods do as they may" As well as the humans. Seems we always have, those with the will to be free to think for ourselves anyway. It's the crippling guilt and shame instilled in childhood that some have to spend the adult years getting over in order to finally see the truth. Some are luckier than others and find the truth sooner. Much enjoyed, I think we can find the oneness here as well as whatever comes after this 'life' - XXOO"
