Faded

By Tania

Your memory is fading.. This constant revere.. it slowly slides away…
Like a flashing neon light that’s just about
to diffuse… it struggles to flicker..
but after a while.. it just stops.
and as the night sky still shines black..
I look to the stars..
I see your face…
It looks so far away now…
Traces of your smile still grace the skyline..
And it enlightens my heart..
But only for a while..
As the wind blows.. things change..
Emotions they slip away..
like the final tear falling to its ultimate death..
I wipe it slowly from my face
Watching it slowly elapse...
Like closing the pages to
An over and done
chapter.. your
memory.. I
just let
it go..

Well done... I can relate. Isn't odd how even the memories we don't want to let go of eventually fade?

art is deeply personal and reflects yourself. unique like fingerprints or snowflakes, you have a certain grace, an elegance to your style. have more faith in yourself, this was passionate and delecate. superb :)

I think the ending wraps this piece up perfectly. it is crushing, yet powerful. Wonderful write.
