Precognitive Protocol

By Drifter

How lovely lies two lives departed
Dreamers dream, a world outsmarted
Thirteen years, the chaos makes it
Adult life and mind is baseless

Many nights we lie of wasted
Nights tasting the seldom tasted
Truth be told we failed to make it
Truth be told we only faked it

Frankly fucked, our diagnosis.
Cause of death: A world precocious
Knowing all we'll ever know
Knowing not but what we're told

And lovly lives together foreign
Of virulent and violent origin
Graspin eyes and fingers reach
Where no one knows enough to teach

Accepted D+ status quo
You could do worse you claim to know
Well here and now a curtain's lifted
A line in sand and passage gifted

So welcome one and welcome all
You'll never leave our dancing ball
Around in circles this way comes
The end aproaching one by one

And on this side the light will flicker
The nights draw long and throats grow thicker
Discomfort lay your saving grace
It's innocence for you to taste

So draw close tonight, and take it in
The velvet kiss and awkward grin
And knowledge in example firm
And fucked your life will quickly turn

There is no nirvana. There is no god.
No saftey here on our little rock.
You'll stand alone on sandy shore
Socks filled of sand and heart of whores

And character and truth be found
And a hole for it dug in the ground
And life is bleak so scream the listless
But suffer mine, and stand veracious.
