The Masquerade

By BeautifullyRuined

You are decieved
in the way you percieve me
an illusion of the
vaguest kind

you think i`m truly
beautiful
yet you`ve never looked
in my eyes

you dont see the hate
so blinded by your love

how many times have i
wrapped my hands around
your throat and you`ve never
even flinched
like i dont have the
nerve to destroy you
and for my own selfish
reasons i havent
YET

For i will never find
another adversary
as worthy as you are

And i have to truly
bedazzle you before
I can end the masquerade
and shoot the stars
from your eyes

I really like this. The only thing that sort of threw me off was when you misspelt "adversary." It's so desperate sounding, I like it.
