A Waiting Young Girl

By stargaze0991

- I know its been a while since I've done anything here, but I have been going through some serious writers block. But here's some new work and I'd appreciate comments as I try to get back into the swing of things. :D

Sitting alone for many a night,
cold and weary of watchful devote,
for I am a waiting young girl,
only dreams keeping me afloat.

Thing of thoughts that are way past gone,
and my heartbroken soul begine to whirl,
only dreams are keeping me afloat,
for I am a waiting young girl.

Sorrow that goes past tears,
and pain that I can't ever note,
for I am a waiting young girl,
Only dreams are keeping me afloat.

So until the return of my strength,
it'll be grey of my life's mural,
only dreams are keeping me afloat,
I'm just a waiting young girl

-- mirrored refrain
