Beautiful Corrosion...
By Spiritus_Frumenti
A shattering life, begins with a promise,
A faithful suggestion
Either spoken or out of silence,
Falling deeper,
Into how hope can often drown
When the heart is filled with an awaiting
that lasts forever
A shattering life continues with a picture,
A glimpse of a vision within our minds
Fading in grades in front of our eyes
With every moment in the world to spare
We sigh, crushingly, in the saddened depths of time
A shattering life ends,
When even if we try to close our eyes
The tears do not stop streaming
Creating everlasting seas,
From which we will float, lifeless,
Without breath but with all our promises
In what has been a beautiful corrosion…

I cannot help but feel that it is your depth of feeling, your passion that survives your poetry - there is no cold resignation, but a fiery force behind it - full of a feeling that without would be naught but defeat...

This is so beautiful... Do you have the slightest idea of how gorgeous this is? Your words flowed like I have not read in years. Truly touching and star shattering. -Philla
