Getting over your aftertaste
By BroKen-GlaSSHeArT
somtimes i think i might
get over your aftertaste
vomiting memory like
a great purge
after i swallowed my pride
for the last time
bitter sweet with
yesterdays pheromone feast
i am sick of waiting around for
a dream that will never come true
each morning i wake up alone
i keep looking for you anyway
i need a sympathetic voice
to erase your haunting farewell
kiss the tears from my eyes and
stir my frozen heart strings
i need to believe there is more to life
that your tattered ghost.

Now I'm trying to get over YOUR aftertaste, your poems are feasts in themselves, they feed souls....And yet when I read yours, my hunger never goes away, I am left wanting more.
