Muddy Waters Blues in E

By Griffin

woke up this morning
rolled out of bed
talked to my mamma
saw she was dead

I got the new shoe blues
I got the new shoes blues baby
and I got nothin to do but lose

woke up this morning
talked to my dad
was a cocaine sniffing robot
knew that I'd been had

I got the new shoe blues
I got the new shoes blues baby
and I got nothin to do but lose

I got nothing to stand on
not even my mind
I can't help but see
I got nothing but time

this isn't the first time
or even the worst
got nothing to do baby
I'm all out thirst

I really enjoyed this especially when reading it in time to a classic bluesey rhythm tune in my head. Great stuff.
