you can't complain

By Griffin

you’re so lame
it’s such a shame
if you were cooler
I’d know your name
But as it is
You can’t complain
‘cause you can’t hear me
you’re just too vain

so come on baby
can’t you see
this isn’t the place
for you and me
you don’t need a mirror
just a friend
to be your buddy
and help ya pretend

they’ll show you pot
you’ll like it a lot
and all the fun
that comes from rocks
you know Beth
she’s my friend too
until she’s
friends with you

this girl Beth
she’ll teach ya meth
and all the fun
that comes with death
now baby
this ain’t the end
but yur friends can’t
help ya pretend

you’re so lame
it’s such a shame
if you were cooler
I’d know your name
But as it is
You can’t complain
‘cause you can’t hear me
you’re just too vain

one day
you’ll go straight
but not until
you drink till eight
now you don’t do drugs
but ya buy gun
now we can really
have some fun

guns in the ghetto
it’s just not right
Gunshots
all through the night
it’s just too bad
you got nowhere to stay
so you go back
to your old way

now you’re stuck
selling drugs
to all these
ghetto thugs
you try to get help
but you’ve been caught
selling pot
to a stupid cop

the judge said crazy
and you can’t disagree
cause just maybe
you’ll be free
turns out not
you’re stuck to rot
now it’s the nut house
we’re you’ll be fought

you’re so lame
it’s such a shame
if you were cooler
I’d know your name
But as it is
You can’t complain
‘cause you can’t hear me
you’re just too

INSANE

Now baby
I just don’t preach
But I can’t
Help to teach
The horrors of drugs
Or what you see
That comes from
Poverty

Now maybe
If you had some
Money, This story
Wouldn’t seem so funny
But little rich white girls
Don’t get caught
Doing the things
They do with pot

but when they do
they get off
with a warning
and a little scoff
but when you got money
You don’t have to pretend
‘cause not everything
is the end

so now we know
what to beat
it’s poverty
and all it’s reach
lets make it lame
let’s make it a shame
lets complain
and make it wane

this wars not done
not yet to be fought
and all it’s lessons
yet to be taught
‘cause when he have
this plague beat
we can let
the etheopians eat

this is freaking great, hillarious and mostly true in this world at this day and age, very easy to read and the way you rhymed it made it flow so well, great job ~Josh~

HAHAHAHAHA I loved the double sword of beating poverty...maybe one day someone will see that if you replace the nightstick with rehabilitation etc that one can get somewhere...
