cavity search

By edenscancer

tear these words from my veins, they're yours anyways

I’ve been sick so long, It’s hard to tell Christ from the cancer
Because this religion is eating me inside
I worship words, I speak in tongues, I bleed from my lips
Until there’s no air left in my lungs
But like any insect I fuck, I breathe, I die, I’m silent,
I’m screaming on the inside

Have you ever seen the face fade from the angels pain
Until there’s nothing left to want except to be sane
Have you seen the tears melt the rust from the devil sea
Until drowning is the only place you want to be

tear these words from my veins, they're yours anyways
I’ve given all I can, and it’s still hard to understand
How to go on living, knowing you’re not

i really don't know how to respond to all the compliments I'm getting on my work but thank you wonderland, and everyone else whos been commenting on my work :)
