War
By HeLlSeND
i severe the never with words on my tongue
and eat at the core of the sore till i'm done
but never the lever will ever be raised
their silence is violence but still they are praised
the season for treason is shortly at hand
the reasons are leavin but still they don't stand
rise to the size of the fight that's inside
take it, they fake it and bury their pride
the shock that they mock as treasonous lies
is truth but the proof is silencing cries
the poor beat the door of the rich to the floor
in the swirl of the world that we need even more
but useless they are in the great scheme of things
just fodder for political pendulum swings.

Very cool. The rhyme and flow of this was great. Last two lines struck me with bitter irony. Hard to give up hope though. Nice job.
