Rames of Inspiration

By Spiritus_Frumenti

[ Ruins of a whisper
Carcasses of thoughts
Existing in abandon
Surrendered as life often does ]

I have felt you watching,
Hiding your tear-streaming face behind the clouds
Inducing, infinitely,
Such tragedy of being
As your mournful soul now imparters

I have known desire,
Passions that devour
Emotions rivaling the brightest burning star
Yet with desolation imcumbent
Time will consume it
Soon belonging only to the past

I have dreamt of love dissapearing slowly,
Diminishing within each atom
Replacing matter with gloom
Infusing the air with the taste of tears
and
Brokenheartedness

I have always wanted my life to be beautifully unfortunate
To live for everything that is dying
Touched deeply by the comfort of emptiness and silence
Where truths tenderly lie
Upon the bitterness that is forever...

*smiles* so good to see your words sting once more. The last stanza a true magnificence, honesty extolled in the most eloquent of ways...
