Void

By veingo

I must escape, from this place
far from nowhere.

Someone, make me feel again.

Or fill me in.

For I am the void that
surrounds myself.

What longing!

Such yearning!

A want without boundary,
that cascades, never ending.

Give me something other than vacuum.

Even pain would be better than this
anti-existance, that still somehow,
can't devour my essence.

Something, give me someone.

Someone, give me something.

Anything, give me anything!

What could be worse than stark absence,
where there is not even an echo
to keep me company?

Tell me!

Is anyone there?
