The Passage of the Sun
By Crimson Shade
As the spring breeze wakes me to the glory I do behold,
And the robin’s song puts the shadows to flight,
The sun takes its first steps on a well-worn road,
Stirring life, once again into existence.
And now the sun bathes in its own omniscience,
As the butterflies flutter and the flowers do unfurl,
The pallid light reveals our true intentions,
As life endures the scars of survival.
And now the failing light comes to bear,
As the sun struggles with its daily death throws,
The robin’s song is now of silence as the shadows do creep,
The sky sheds crimson tears as life begins its slumber anew.

The succession of your stanzas fit so perfectly with the risings and settings of the sun. Your imagery is as realistic as a painting. Beautiful write. *Evangel*
