Murder me with Sunshine
By xserratedsoulx
Murder me with Sunshine,
Cast Daisies on my Grave,
And a Wreath of Purple in my Hair,
The Head you couldn't Save
Cover up my Darkness
With a Bright and Burning Light,
And with my corpse now in the ground
Make a Rainbow out of Night
And when I'm Gone, bring Roses,
But don't cut off the Thorn,
Remember the all the Misery
Their Brutal Points Adorn
Don't Mourn my Star-Crossed Passing,
But Rejoice in Hatred's Death,
Make Music with the Sparrow,
And Restore to Life, Loves Breath

"But don't cut off the Thorn" I am reminded of Ophelia w/ this poem, even though it is a far cry from delrious desperations. Must be the flowers; I like how you've arranged this one.

This flowed so elegantly and gracefully together, pieced words fit perfectly. The imagery sown and applied beautifully, Lovely work.

Damn fine writing here.. you used your words with intelligent care. Though, the 'remember the all the misery' line.. was that meant to have two the's in it? Altogether fine work. ~b
