teddy to the trash

By bloody LOVEly

she was all alone
but it was okay
cause she had her teddy
and her teddy listened intently
as she cried
as she wined
as she spoke of true love's first kiss
Teddy was there
through thick and thin
but when she grew up
would she still need teddy's friendship?
when she was older
would her dear ole' teddy be there to listen?

My best mate's Teddy turned against him as a child. He woke up in the middle of the night to face his teddy and half-asleep heard teddy speak the unspeakable. "Bananas."

I think teddy will still be there hoping that she still had time to talk. I used to treat my stuffed animals as though they were real, but they needed me.

I'd hide them under my blanket and hold them tight when it stormed. Now Alyssa, my daughter, treats them the way I used to. thank you for this write, it brought back memories.

I simply adore this. Although I have never talked to a teddy, I have cats that I do talk to. Good write!
