Mortician on the Edge

By Savannah

Break away from loneliness,
Tear yourself from it's cold grasp.
Break away from loneliness,
Live today as it's your last.

Break away from heartache,
Alone, you can proceed.
Break away from heartache,
Yourself is all you need.

Break away from blindness,
There's a grave right at your feet.
Break away from blindness,
Or you'll ride in the backseat.

Break away from selfishness,
There are others far, far worse.
Break away from selfishness,
Some don't choose to take that hearse.
