"Forgotten"

By Grim_Sorrow

Lost Amongst Tragedy
These Silent Screams
Shattering My Soul
Severing This Pitiless Existence
These Lackadaisical Attempts At Happiness
These Words
Hidden Truths
Desperate Cries
Torn From Within
My Last Attempt
My Last Hope
This Preponderance Of Evil
Fading Away
Escaping Within
Basking In My Pain
This Hollow Dream
These Memories
Long Forgotten
Like Myself
My Gravest Fear
To Be Forgotten

To Be Forgotten…

No one is truely forgotten, their memories exist within the hearts of the ones they leave behind in the end. I loved this poem, it is a fear that most people have in their lifetime..
