Why is it that lately I seem to feel
That something is pulling me down,
And nothing’s ever real?
It’s like my heart has imploded
Inside my very chest
And every time I search for feeling,
My hopes are put to rest.
I feel like I am always lost
And I cannot find my place
Its like two separate paths have crossed
Or my memory erased.
