The Other Lover
By October Death
Do you think of her while you're kissing me?
Do you think of her at night,
While we're tangled in the aftermath of our lust and need?
I know you despise me.
So why do you stay?
Because we look good together?
Because it's expected of you?
We're trapped in a spider web of lies, affairs, and deceit.
I'm not strong enough to lose you yet.
Let her go.
