placing blame where...
it does not belong

the tears streak down your face
mascarea, no longer straight.
ill wipe your eyes ten thousand times
before ill leave you there

a gentle kiss on your forehead
to reassure you im here
and that with me theres
nothing more to fear

i remember the time
when nothing was wrong
i remember the place
but forget the song

if for one moment,
i could take all your pain
just so you can sleep.
(away from this)
if for one moment,
i could make you happy
just so you can seap
(into bliss)
if for one moment,
i could remove the weight (you wear)
just so you can leap
(one last time)

if for one moment.
i could do more.
