My broken heart

By rondant

I was so happy
Happy and free
When it was us
Just you and me
But then you dumped me
And left me alone
Deep in the dark
Where my sorrow could be shone
I knew it would end
With a broken heart
But I didn't think
ThatI would fall apart
Crying with such saddness
Deeply in pain
While you stand there
Watching in vein
