Broken Dreams

Broken dreams,
Lay shattered all around me.
Illusions fill the empty space,
Your face is lost behind the dark smoke.
I'm lost!
Can't seem to find my way out.
I keep stumbling
Over the sharp edges of broken dreams.
They slice through my heart
And poke through my skin.
How do I find my way out
Of this room that never ends?!
There's nothing left at all
It's all gone now.
Illisions fade away
As reality sets in.
There's nothing left to hide
Except for pieces of broken dreams
Scattered all around me.
