A Brand New You (bondage and brainwash)

By lordshadow

synthetic theoretical hypothetical bullshit

hypodermically injected directly
into your head
uttering guttural moans
as the rusty syringe
passes through flesh and bone

straight to your brain...
from behind your ear...
so you won't feel the pain...
there's nothing to fear...

held by the hand of someone
who demands your respect
but neglects to inject
that little piece of information

strapped down
to the table
but still not so stable
stripped of everything but
the clothes on your back

bright lights make the
white walls brighter

blinding and binding

with your eyelids taped to your forehead

before you t.v. screens
flash scenes of violence
obscene phrases replace the silence

their manufactured do(s) and don't(s)
assimilate your predetermined shouldn't(s) and won't(s)

on the surface the same person
but beneath the layers of regularity
resides a "brand new" you...

...and then they inject you
back into your could-have-been life

straight to your brain...
from behind your ear...
so you won't feel the pain...
so you won't feel the fear...

WOW... This is great. It is so clear what is going on but so hidden as well. It holds a great concept and I really can relate to this thought of society but maybe not quite so delicately.

Also... the title caught my attention and I am so glad you didn't let me down with this. Some people get great titles and there work just ruins it all, but obviously not in your case. Amazing insight! Bethany
