After Life
By Nesfurata
I'm drowning in a river of pain.
In life there is nothing to gain.
The people on shore don't have a clue
My life is already gone; my skin is turning blue.
I release myself to the river's flow.
My lifeless body sinks into the undertow.
My body is dead, but I am still here.
The only emotion I have left is fear.
On shore I see people who cannot se me.
They said there was a God so where the hell is He?
Am I to walk the world still unseen by all?
Will God ever hear my dead call?
The world moves quickly by me.
It's getting dark and hard to see.
As my vision shuts down I feel the cold.
I can already feel my mind erode.
I know this is the end as I lose my mind.
And they said God was loving and kind.
