The Razorblade's Enticement

By Nesfurata

The razorblade leaves just a little slice.
I should stop here, resist the blade's entice
For another cut, a deeper wound - an escape.
I'm numb, enveloped in pain, as the cut takes its shape.
The pain in my eyes no longer shows.
I close my eyes and smile as my blood flows.

I am never good enough in anyone's eyes.
I am sick of you people and all your lies.
Nobody in this world truly cares.
So once again my soft skin tears.
I clench my teeth as my veins I expose
I close my eyes and smile as my blood flows.

For once there is no pain.
Numbness claims my brain.
There is darkness all around.
My heart can barely pound.
I end the life I never chose.
I stop breathing and no more blood flows.
