Lost Love

By mysticventures

Having worked out the reasons for my beliefs as I do
Still, I find something is missing

Where is the love, the warmth, the passion
My logical mind is lacking

Can one find love thru logical contemplation
To this point I have not

Oh, there's passion a plenty for my beliefs and convictions
Again, from a logical standpoint

All logic aside, my heart knows these truths
I have faith in what has been given

Yet still I long for that peace and comfort
That only true love can bring

When will I find it, God only knows
But I'll never stop searching

For my lost love

This piece was not written about traditional love - if you found yourself thinking that - read it again!
