And the miles go by
By mysticventures
I am just a vehicle
Travelling down life's highways
Taking in the scenery
I often take the byways
Many miles I've covered now
And I've countless more to go
When and where my journey will end
Is not for me to know
Experience alone is why I drive
This road without an end
The marks upon my body
Tell the tales of where I've been
Mostly I tend to run real well
My engine seems just fine
The tread is running alittle thin
I need a tune-up from time to time
Overall I've enjoyed the ride
There's been some bumps along the way
But these and other obstacles
I've taken day by day
Nothing seems to slow me down
For my eyes are ever forward
I just keep plugging down the road
And continue my journey onward

I once had a dream the universe was a road that wrapped around a sphere and the travelers kept everthing in motion. You wrote my dream:) Great poem:)

I can really relate to what you are expressing here--although your take on it is a lot more optimistic than mine usually is *smiles*

the second stanza was the best here, as is per usual to your works, great thought expressed sublimely
