The desecration of Love

By Linwe

As time passed by, our Love became restricted
You seemed to always refrain
Undid the romance we benedicted
But the worst was, you expected me to do the same...

My Love knows no limits, nor is bounded by them
If I love thee, nothing can hold me back
This strong feeling, I just wanted to live it
Give it all...but then you gave me the sack...

These years have left its traces
Whether as memories or scars
I don't care about all your different faces
All I wanna know... was it just a farce?

I know your feelings were sincere
And that's why I cannot understand
How you could seem so far away from here
...Why break by heart but not mend?

It's not even that it was unrequited... I know damn well that my ex-boyfriend loved me to bits.. it's just that he..changed... saying things that hurt too much while there was a sweet meaning behind them... But it hurt TOO much. It wasn't unrequited..just
