Letter for a Wolf Killer

By LoneWolf

The youth in my head
Has faded to nothing
Like the youthful appearance
You used to sport, once upon a time
But only in my presence
When you tore up your conscience
And threw your cats in the gutter
Never did you know
That you left me
Dead in that ditch too
The night that you told me
You were throwing your old life
Off the roof of your favorite skyscraper
Never was Chicago as windy
As it was in that storm
But nor did I care
As the thunder stripped me bare
Static electricity ran though my veins
Shocking me through
But you never understood me, did you
And that's your reason
