shot at the sun.

By Exodus

What we have wont hurt anymore
What we made into the stars
Called it the epiphany of god and
Lust blown eyes of shattered faith
And a sweetness filled desire
Infecting the tongues of others
You know.
Others you wait for.

And you breathe the life.
Letting it destroy.
So fast to become one of us.
Dedicated hands, pulling away
Ultimately revealing the naked truth
We shell out and bleed more for the freak show.

Make me hell

The gust of wind is taking me apart
And selling me out and I feel betrayed
As truth tells a lie and a lie is my ruin.

God is lust and we find ourselves
His slaves of used up sex, but we sell.
We sell so fast. Were spinning unto less of ourselves.

Just ranting.

::exhilarants:: are we the stars of yesterdays fall out with reality?

The first stanza is really exceptional... its just plain good writing. "Make me hell" hit me hard, too, and the last line got me thinking... one of your best in a while... I love it.
