Kali

By LoneWolf

The great Goddess
My dark Mother
Kali
You are destruction
But you are resurrection
You destroy the old
To allow creation of the new

Kali
Your children are lost
Help us find the way
Teach us the lessons
That we must learn
To continue in our quest
And quench our thirst for knowledge

They see you as Lilith
As Hecate
As the Fates
But you are your own
You are the Dark Crone
You are equal to none
Jai Ma Kali

Kali .. As much as I like India and this poem, I got to say that Kali is a bit too twisted for me. Well many of her followers are, they mean buisness. And death is there buisness.

Still sitting praying next to corpses day out and day in may sound exotic and very darkpoetry like. In theory ^^
