Delve into Winter [for Steven]

By LoneWolf

I delve into winter
In my mind I see
The white cotton falling
On a crescent moon
I wither
I remember
How once upon a time
You held me in the cold
When I fell you helped me
And blamed yourself
For the pain
But I only wanted you
In the fluff
On your birthday
Eating cake, daring you to
Take that one last bite
I had to leave you
But I still remember
The icy cold of Ottawa
The slickness of your sweat and hair
I want you now as I did then
Under the crescent skies
