The Gift of Darkness

By Methos

Silence falls as we weave back in forth
As if caught in some rare, perverse dance
Faintly feeling your lips upon my neck
Your whispers causing my mind to wander…

Slowly I drift in your intoxication
Falling weakly to my knees
Searching for release
From your hypnotic embrace
Finding only damnation

You withdraw your seize of my soul
Causing confusion to set within my mind
Falling swiftly to the ground
I hear the last beat of my heart

Silence falls upon my existence
Tainting it with shades of red
Mixing my soul with evil
Tearing my mind from life
And leaving this lust…

I rise from my death, eyes searching
As if a newborn, comprehension lacking
Quickly I stare to you, eyes of black
You return my gaze smiling

My questions fade into the mists
As hunger stings my being
Your dark beauty enhanced
by the touch of my blood,
gleaming upon your lips…

Time had ceased to exist for us
Eternal lust filled our hearts
Demons of the darkest nights
We were dark lovers within blissful shadows

The cost of our wicked ways…
Was paid in full, by the gift of life
Its enigmatic existence simply pure
Sustaining our immortality
Its rapture drawing us in

Our salvation, our lust, our greed
Fulfilled only, when innocents bleed….
