Car Crash Rhetoric

By Queazenart

I swear to God we're the same
Splatters on a windshield
Lost every vertebrae
Remains after the force of the impact
I'm a mess

You're in a wreckage somewhere
Unrecognizable
I'm the wreckage that you left here
That's so forgettable

I swear to God we're the same
Bodies in pieces
Stains on the seat
What's left of a dead end relationship
I'm a mess

I got choked up with the lines "I'm the wreckage that you left here, that's so forgettable." This piece was beautiful and painful all the same. Thank you -RTBH
