Game Night

By Commander_Cadaver

"Yahtzee!"
She yells after seeing what
She rolled into the table.
A sip of whiskey warms the soul
And body as we continue
To play game after game.

A sip of whiskey loosens me up
And starts to break me out of
My comfort zone.
The later we stay, the more risque
The games become.
Nothing too bad...at first.
"Never have I ever..."
Another sip of whiskey.

Or was that a glass of it?
I can't remember but now I'm
Halfway through the bottle
Of Jim Beam.
A sip of whiskey and it looks like
It is my turn to pick a game.

After some liquid courage
And cheers from my friends,
I stumble out of the room for a few
Seconds and come back with
A locked box.

They raise eyebrows and look
Around at each other, confused
As to what game we are about
To play.
A sip of something now and the box
Is unlocked, displaying the components
Of my favorite game.

Six chambers,
Six guests,
One gun,
One bullet.

The bullet slides into the chamber
And the mechanism is spun
Before snapping into place.
I point the gun at one guest
And CLICK!
Luck was on her side.
Another point and CLICK!
More luck tonight.

Others start to stumble away
As I sip on something in my cup.
Not even sure anymore.
CLICK! CLICK!
Oh my, who will be the lucky
Winner of tonight's game?

I point the gun to my head and...

CLICK!
Ah, luck has yet to leave my side.
I point the gun at the last contestant
Before I can pull the trigger,
They pull out their own pistol,
Point it at me, and pulls the trigger.

BANG!
I'm tonight's winner it seems.
