"Sinister Wine"

By Sorrowful Jester

"Sinister Wine"
I apologize.
-To whom you freaking idiot?
To you
-For what?
You don't remember, do you?
-You made sure about it by sending me to the E.R
-So many times that I can't even remember that
-I am just being constantly reminded by them
Yes, I am sorry I did that to you
At least, now, people stick to you like glue
-Why does it feel like an anchor to my free spirit?
Anchor or not, those reminders, keep you alive
-So...
-So... I'm the one condemned to live
-Great job!
You don't remember, but at least, I did something good
I "anchored" you, and I turned you into a scarecrow
-Maybe, it's a good thing that I cannot remember
Trust me, it is :(
You, don't have to worry
You, don't have to cry
I'm the one that has to
I have to remember those tearful eyes when she...
She... used to make that same silent, yet deafening WISH
I kept counting the seconds, ever since that day
She would keep her eyes closed 4
She would ask me to to do the same thing
Every time a star used to fall...
14!
14 seconds of silence
Every time making a wish while crying
Then she would, almost instantly, put on on her smile
A smile that she had, and used only for me
-How can you still remember that number?
Because it is our birthday
Because it is was the first time that I noticed it.
It was her birthday
Instead of a lot of white flowers
That, now, reminds me of her innocence
Accompanied by some ErebidaeTheophila plants
The only way to show a true Thea (Goddess)
Forever guarding her like the Erebidae (Iris) of my eyes
With which, she, similarly to the very fine Tyndall effect
That made her elegant and mystique blue eyes
Scatter light even to the darkest moments of my life
Which in its most elegant form even slow down the centrifuge
Of my liquid, yet make me rise to heaven with her in my life Even solidify, and give a direction to my life

Chills like the morgue crept out of my Christmas stocking and panic like i was the one on the slab covered in bells and gingerbread...elegant and crushing. Smells like dead hope twitching with its last nerve.

Thank you for your comment. It means a lot to me (to continue publishing what I write from time to time). During certain periods of the year I avoid doing certain things. One such thing is reliving these events by Christmas --or this could be a fictional thing that enables me to empathize or even sympathize with someone else's experience. I am but a lowly Jester ;)

This was an enjoyable read and as I clicked it, GoGo Penguin - Bardo started playing and it served to heighten the overall experience.
