If in the Moment
By Silver Spectre
If in the moment you feel most helpless
I would rescue you to where
the dreams
Of a life of two lovers lay in seed
In the dew
of honey made sweet to believe
In the miracle of something magical
Would you fight off the scent of green
Or trade a rose petal
touch
For the well known sweet scent of decay
That plays
around your dreams and face
Don’t tarry too long In view
of desolate eyes
On paths of ill design, Among the legions of
The slow killing Of dreams to life
Would you
Would
I
Would we be
Strong enough
Brave enough
Would we be
What we dream to be
If in that moment?
