Strong For the Weak (Sonnet)
By Nightmare
Hard to contain the pain I feel
Tried to avoid confronting what's wrong
I know what's going to happen in not too long
Have to pinch myself because it's all real.
I find that I am beside myself
not sure what to do or say anymore
never dealt with this first hand before
This problem much larger than life itself
Got to be strong
For you I have to be
Right now you can't see me
But see in my heart you belong
My hands are tied, nothing I can do
But sit beside this bed to be here for you.
