The Fear

By SalemLex

The fear
of the unknown
makes me anxious.
I arm myself.
The fear
of something different
pushes me farther away.
I arm myself.
The fear
of the worlds danger
makes my hear race.
I arm myself.
The fear
of what I see
makes me angry.
I arm myself.
The fear
of my own safety
pushed me to hate.
I arm myself.
The fear
of others weapons
makes me kill.
I arm myself.
So i wont live in fear.

(Is?)To wield fear with no fear to be master, to accept fear with no fear to be slave; so very often they seem the same; what is fear? ... I enjoyed this. -Nadir-
