No Decent Human Being

By Queazenart

Blackened heart under lacerated skin
Beaten down husk worked to the very end
If my downfall were a story
I wouldn't know where to begin
I've lost count of the events
That had happened there within.

Broken glass
Women past
Lucky accidents

I can't survive
Another night
I've lost my will to live

She spoke to me
But couldn't see
The fact that I was bleeding

The words I form
Behind my teeth:
"I'm no decent human being".

This has a rather nice flow and solid imagery. I wonder though other than certain holier than thou people who would really consider themselves a decent being.

The fact that this reminds so much of, well, ME is simply amazing. This is a beautiful piece, keep writing my friend.

Worthlessness to self... It's terrible, but manageable. Worthlessness to another soul... Kill me now! ...I, once upon a time, struggles with the mixed emotions about my self-worth and it had a horrid outcome. Relatable piece. -Write on Scholar

Wow. The flow in this piece is superb. The wording is well thought out and the whole premise of this write is something that I'm sure many can relate to. Write on.
