Walk of Mind (or, the Lyrics That Never Were)
By Melankolia
Speak unto me of sadness,
Breathe into me your sorrow...
Hide me under your wings of Darkness...
For all time...
The mind drowns in the essence of pain...
No escape to be found within...
Your face I see in the mirror of thought...
Echoes from horizon's cusp...
Darkness is beauty, a world reversed...
Finding panacea in suffering...
Holding forth the atrocities of ages...
Walk inside this mind with me...
Released as a darkening cloud...
Elemental shift and lightless journey...
Across the contemplative plain of dreams...
Eyes closed to ethereal light extinguished long ago...
Time passes, a requiem to failure...
While the world revolves under heaven's wrath...
Death eternal if not in your embrace...
Bringing naught but derision and emptiness...
So speak to me of sadness...
Whisper unto me your sorrow...
Take refuge under my crown of grief...
Let us walk this darkened path as one...
Until the end of the world...
Walk with me....
My life for yours under the blazing stars...
We have been reborn on this our Walk of Mind....

Treading deeper into the catacombs of the mind with another, brings much pleasure... This is a darkly divine walk... Thanks for sharing :)~
