The difference between you and people like me

By Razor-kissed-wrists

The difference between you
And people like me
The nightmare is over when you get out of bed
Luckily for you
Yesterday is gone
But my thoughts are all still lingering in my head

The hardest part of living
Is just taking
The breaths to stay
But if one day I do it
And decide this life isn't worth it
Not one soul would care anyway

People say it's selfish
Leaving people behind
They say its rude
But if you ask me
Guilting people to stay and suffer
Make you the one that needs to get a clue

Do not sit there and pity me
Do not try to sympathize
Please do not say that I'll be okay
Because what goes on in my head
Is so wrong and disgusting
By the time you realize this I'll be long gone, I'm going away

When you 'mourn'
Say something sweet, say something funny
But don't say that you loved me
Because you would have shut up
And you would have watched what you said
If I get one wish, it's that I get to be free.

Well done... I often feel this way. Waking up every morning just wishing you hadn't... going through the day like a dream you wish would end.

"Luckily for you Yesterday is gone But my thoughts are all still lingering in my head The hardest part of living Is just taking The breaths to stay" this is what I understood most, I can definitely relate there. This- " When you 'mourn' Say something sweet, say something funny But don't say that you loved me" I firmly agree with too, as I feel the negatives in my life would fully attempt to play face. Nice write!
