daffodils look lovely today
By boneplate
This is the long dark march of my soul.
sickheartedly alone, definite.aimlessly trudging,
finding a home in
leafless existence.
Starving,
to be….
The only sound is the guttural shriek
of abandonment.
Has anyone ever looked lovely?

I've been finding it difficult to comment on poems lately and I'm assuming it's because the ones I want to speak about the most are the ones that literally take the words right out of my mind...everything about this is perfect.

daffodil lament by the cranberries brought me here.... this is stark and strange and beautiful in its loneliness.
