Just when I thought
my hell had ended,
it had only just begun....
Drunken stooper,
loaded gun.
There was no sad, regretful apology letter
No sign of second thought,
No sign
of struggle.
He must not have fought.
My only prayer is that he's finally at rest,
no more trying to convince
himself that he was only second best.
The children
miss him most at night...
I wonder..
Did he ever show them how to
fly that kite?

I'll add that to
my list of things to do.
Damn, I have so much on my plate,
and now this heartache too...?
I know our life was hard,
but you gave it all up like it was a poker game!!
our life's contents
are more than just cards.
yeah, we were dealt a shitty hand...
but didn't we always have bigger
plans?
The life we had to fight and battle thru
is now the same life you chose for your baby's too...?
and its all for what...?
